TORPOINT (6) V PENZANCE (3)

This was a day where both teams would rather have been relaxing at the beach instead of contesting a place in the cup final due to the heat. Torpoint made hard work of the game and on a couple of occasions Penzance could have taken the lead but for Torpoint's stand in keeper Helen Rundle. Although Rundle was finally beaten when a well struck shot found its way into the Torpoint net to make the score 1-0. This didn't shock Torpoint and minutes later they hit back with two Kirsty Lambert headers which made the score 2-1 to Torpoint.

In the second half Torpoint went and extended there lead through a Mandi McCann header within 5 minutes of the restart. Then Donna Gage scored her first of a hat-trick when Penzance switched off to make it 4-1. Torpoint made two substitutions taking Lily Gilman and Kirsty Lambert off, and replacing them with Helen Kingscott and Catherine Downs. Penzance then scored a second, Only for Gage to go and make the score comfortable by completing her hat trick to make the score 6-2. Penzance had one last goal in them to make the final score Torpoint 6-3 Penzance.

Torpoint will now face Saltash in the final at Sticker FC on Sunday 18 th May
